Concerts

KIST holds a number of concerts during the year that showcase the talents of our students through vocal, dance, instrumental and dramatic performances.

Winter celebration

The Winter Celebration held in December presents performances from students related to festivities held around the world during the winter season. Divided into sections for Elementary and Secondary, the celebration includes a variety of seasonal songs that create a festive mood for the audience to enjoy prior to the winter vacation.

Kindergarten concert

The Kindergarten Concert held in spring showcases performances by our youngest students in K1, K2 and K3 as well as the P2 class from K. International Preschool (KIPS). For many of the students, it is their first time to perform on a stage and they are often quite nervous, but the audience loves watching them in their bright, colorful costumes, many of which are created especially by the students’ families.

End-of-year concert

The End-of-Year Concert (EYC) for Elementary and Secondary students is held in June just before the end of the school year. The Elementary Concert involves all students from Grades 1 through 5 in on-stage class performances—often related to a particular theme, while the Secondary Concert features a variety of class and ensemble performances that highlight students’ music classes and music-related club activities as well as other solo, duo and small group performances selected through an audition process.
