The following LEAP courses are available in 2020–21. Click the links for more information about the content of each course.
Application process
To apply for your child to participate in a LEAP course, click on any of the ‘APPLY NOW’ icons to access the online application system where you must log in to your Office 365 KIST parent account. Applications are required each semester.
Submission of an application does not automatically secure a place in the class. All applications are screened for eligibility. As seats are limited due to smaller class sizes, priority is given to those required to attend who have a greater need for support as determined by the school.
All applicants are informed of the result of their application by e-mail.
Calendar
The dates for LEAP classes in 2020–21 are as follows:
- Semester 1: November 2 – December 11, 2020
- Semester 2: January 25 – May 21, 2021

Fees
Fees for the full semester duration of each course are shown below. For mid-semester enrollments, fees are calculated on a weekly basis. Invoices are issued after the courses have commenced. Payment is accepted via bank transfer only. Please do not pay until you have received your invoice.
All fees on this page are indicated in Japanese yen.

Cancellations and refunds
LEAP tuition fees are refundable according to the calculations shown in the table below where enrollment is cancelled for the full semester at least two days prior to the first day of classes. Cancellations should be made via e-mail to the school office at info@kist.ed.jp.

LEAP tuition fees are not reduced or waived due to a student’s absence from school for medical or personal reasons. Furthermore, refunds are not provided for instructional days lost due to reasons beyond the school’s control (e.g. extreme weather conditions, short-term grade/class closures). Refunds may be provided, however, in situations where classes are cancelled due to unforeseen clashes in the school schedule.
